Okkk, one thing at a time.

First off, I was just trying to be informative & helpful to fellow drivers who, like most of us, can fall into the trap laid out by smooth marketers.

Second, I didn't come looking for you nor did I point to anyone's brand names until you decided to task me.
I didn't mention brands until you decided to mention yours as an example.
Your words were big & bold enough print for even me to see it.

And no...I'm not very misinformed. Next.
I took the time to read your "facts" & try to understand them.
They didn't make sense to me & I was able to shoot holes in your "facts".
As far as enlightenment..here's a bit of enlightenment for you to puruse.

    http://files.ctia.org/pdf/CTIA_Repeater_White_Paper_Final_050106.pdf

This is the org that oversees the cellular industry & to whom the majority of cellular carriers are members of.

This white paper provides fcc rules & explanations of the rules specifically for your type of product.
It's a tad lengthy but there's no other way to be this precise.
Everything I've stated is in there plus much more. Next.
Motorola doesn't care if you use their name as long as you paid for the technology licensing to use their circuits.
In their minds it's free advertising.
Motorola doesn't license the manufacture of your device.
They license the USE of their proprietary circuits & in your product.
The fcc licenses the manufacture (but not the use) of your device (if yours is even licensed by the fcc that is).
If someone gets in trouble for using that device, Motorola's not going to be part of the suit.
The end user is the one in trouble.

Read the whitepaper because all of this is explained in there.
I spent as much time on their website as I'm going to in hopes of verifying your statements.
Frankly, I just don't care that much if they do or don't.
They aren't advertising it on their web site as an accessory so obviously it must be a big trade secret.
Besides, I seem to recall tasking you with the job of producing the endorsements from AllTel & all the other cell companies ascribing their blanket permissions to use your product.

How's that lil task coming along?

Permissions & endorsements are also covered in the whitepaper.
Lower yourself huh? That's nice talk. Remember what Cybergirl said..play nice.
I gave your link a shot & it brought me to a main page.
I did a search on cyfre & rfk, nothing came up that was even remotely related.
    Post a better link please.

As to the licenses, are you refering to those Motorola license numbers so deceivingly posted on cyfre's webpage?

    I looked up those licenses.
All they describe is the bits & peices of Motorola proprietary circuitry & intellectual property your product employs in part.
One of those licenses was for Euro trademarking which was similar to Motorola's.
None of those license numbers means anything more than your company paid Motorola & the other registrant to use their repsective ideas/cicuits.
I don't think I read anything that called you liar.
Focus...stick to the job at hand.
You're supposed to be backing your argument with fact not tantrum.

    Read the whitepaper from CTIA.
Then come back & tell me I don't know what I'm saying.
Oh by the way, don't forget all the written statements I asked for.

    Those were great weren't they?
    Heavy though.
But back then there weren't near as many cell towers as now & you needed that 3 watts on 800mhz to go into rural areas.

Sorry but you are misinformed , you may know some rules but obviously not all of them.
Because the products ae not on the direct Altell site . You still don't think they sell the product. There are plenty of items they sell that are not on the website it is no huge trade secret . The Cyfre DBSW819 carries an Alltel part # of UMISM07 just for starters if that helps you on your quest for the truth.
As far as Motorola . Thier technology is licensed in the manufacturing of the products . It is used in conjunctionh with Cyfres technology . You cannot just use Motorola technology without them testing and approving the product and approving the use of thier technology in said product. Motorola owns over 11 million patents and copyrights worldwide and they take it very seriously who uses thier technology and how. They do not just take it as free advertivising.
You claim not to be able to find anything on the FCC site. Here is a link to the FCC search site , https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm

Type in Grantee code RFK. You will find all the Cyfre products and thier FCC approval codes . All the products are also manufactured in America not off shore. And each one is approved for the specific applications you have stated is illegal. There are products such as Wireless in vehicle amplifiers, direct connect amplifiers and In building wireless amplifier systems. As you will see all our products are FCC approved for the exact applications they are marketed for.
    Have a Good Day

BobC is GONE. I have watched him and even deleted some stupid posts with links to all kinds of ads and crap. This will NOT be tolerated. Enough is enough, period. We will NOT accept abuse of our advertisers and the hounding of them...it is uncalled for. Done.
