What was the other company you talked to in your first post?

Out of Phoenix, and for .34cpm I am going guess it was Swift.

unless you want to do a lot of oversize don't come to Lonestar.

I am hired by Melton , swift and knight and those others werent an option for me ( meaning I don't want to work for them ).
I talked to 5 recruiters or so and they all seem to be pretty set on their .34,.35,.36 cpm even though a penny or two wouldnt change my mind easily. I talked to System and seriously considered them and probably would try to get on there if Melton ends up being different than they say it is , I still like System a bunch but picked Melton over them for my reasons. I also was very interested in FirstFleet even though it isnt flatbedding I just have a few friends that work there and other contacts ,but the TM couldnt have been less friendly and less interested in me when I finally got through to him , he never called me and I had to contact them 3 or 4 times to get through to him even after leaving messages. His final statement to me was I have 30 applications for 5 postions and whomever is most qualified will get a call.
I drive locally graveyard shift 5 days a week and bump docks and do anywhere from 90 to 200 city miles a night besides doing across state runs on random night's where I go all over arizona (again at night) and have driven in all arizona's weather , Seroious rainstorms, duststorms and snow and some good good ice nights combined with mountains in Flagstaff and Payson/Show low so I feel like I am fine for driving , very confident and I challenge myself to keep it interesting with different turns/backing/engine brake downshifting and I the only thing I SUCK at is double clutching , I REALLY HOPE that isnt a big part of the Drivers Test otherwise it chould be cake. -
not sure if I was clear enough there , it was System.
