Nope. Before Nixon I had my hands full with licorice and bubble gum. (Baseball cards) :)

Legalized marijuana is a myth. If you want to put this to the test, piss hot on your next screening, and tell them it was okay because you smoked up in Colorado.
There simply exists a set of circumstances in which states have decided they will decline to prosecute for marijuana possession and use. It still remains illegal.
That being said, while I agree with some of what you said, that's really irrelevant in the discussion at hand - he got caught in a set of circumstances in which his state did prosecute him, and that is going to affect him insofar as trying to get into this industry is concerned.
The law is what it is, and that's what has him by the balls right now - not the morality of it, right and wrong, logic or lack thereof behind the law, etc.

Let's just make everything that's illegal legal. That's stupid. I think alcohol and cigarettes should be illegal IMO

Making alcohol illegal has been tried before. If you remember a little thing called Prohibition, the "Roaring Twenties", etc., you may recall that it didn't fare so well.

Yeah and I don't recall so many alcohol related crashes at that time. Just my opinion but I don't think there is anything positive about drugs or alcohol. But hey what do I know I'm just a student truck driver

There was also a much lower rate of car ownership, lower population density, a less developed road network, DUI wasn't really something which was focused on then.... but yeah, let's go with that notion. Seems logical, right?

Lol so what's your great idea about drugs and alcohol? What's the benefit of drugs and alcohol for our nation? The laws should be stricter. IMO 1 DUI/DWI should revoke your license forever and the same for drug charges

I never claimed to have a be-all, end-all solution for it. It's not quite that simple, which you seem unable to comprehend. And, in spite of thinking you have one, you actually have even less of one.
I find it a bit ridiculous that you're so critical when your argument is basically to say that a method which not only failed miserably, but bolstered organized crime to new heights, should be implemented once again, and your basis for this is about it being "bad for you" (while learning to drive a vehicle which you could be driving 100k miles or more in a year, and releasing all sorts of emissions into the atmosphere) and on supposed data which has been completely nonexistent. If what you're proclaiming is what you want so badly, perhaps you'd find yourself quite happy in Saudi Arabia.

    Joetro Thanks this.

So because some americans backlashed like 2 year old tantrums that means to give in and allow alcohol to be legal once again. Yeah that makes sense. I love how you try to determine my comprehensions skills and yet you can't give me any positives to the legality of drugs and alcohol in our nation and I also asked you what your ideas were. Can you comprehend that?
