Greetings. I just purchased a 2004 VNL as a replacement for a 2006 model that went down. It has the D12D 465 engine. On the lower dash, to the right of the steering column, at the driver's knee; there is a switch with a fuel pump icon. Can some one tell me what's its for? My '06 did not have this.
Thanks
Need a little knowledge on a 2004 VNL

this has electric priming pump it does not have the hand option, so it's just to prime the fuel system dont work as well as the hand priming pumps and those housing are a lot more expensive.

Thanks! When changing fuel filters on my '06, I did not have to prime the the fuel system. On this one with the electric pump; is it necessary to prime the system when changing filters? Thanks again
