I take it you're in the reefer division?1-800-224-4585 ask for safety. You're going to hear a message listen to it all and follow what the recording says. Its not long. He'll tell you to dial 2 followed by the pound sign.

Called the number, spoke to someone in safety and he said I had to contact my fm about it. So I will do that as soon as I can. Next question is that I have my fm's number, if I call that number will it go to who ever is acting fm for his fleet or is that a different number?

The trainer will probably be fired; then you will get another inexperienced trainer. Eventually you will get the required miles to go solo then you won't have the teaming to deal with.

It should go to whoever is acting fm.They probably run a skelton crew on the weekends so you may have to stay on hold for awhile. Some safety dept like every other trucking company. No matter how serious it is it has to go thru dispatch first.I say get rid of safety and let dispatch take concerns because thats what its like anyway. My last company was the same way.But yes there will be someone you can talk to in dispatch.

I kind of got that feeling from safety that there is only a skeleton crew on the weekends. Ill see who I can get a hold of. The guy didn't ask even ask who's truck I was on or truck number.

Then companies wonder why so many accidents, why their insurance goes up.But of course its always the drivers fault. It starts with inexperienced trainers, trainers that cheat and never gets in trouble for it because most the time they take the trainers side.

I'm here to learn and learn to be safe, that's not looking possible in the current circumstances. His pre trip consisted of only looking at the tire walls and reefer fuel level.

It should unless it's a direct line then it will just ring and ring until the message system takes it. You could call again and ask for dispatch and explain the situation to them. Sounds like a bad start. :(
