1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

    Hi y'all,

I am a retired firefighter and former Training Officer (fire department). I did two years of over-the-road trucking (Class A, dry van and reefer) in retirement. I am all about safety and am a good communicator both in writing and in a classroom setting. My ideal job would be in training and safety at a trucking company, preferably in North central Florida. I have plenty of teaching experience from Sunday school to CPR; and from firefighting and medical first response training to clogdancing classes (percussive dance - a sibling form of Tap)! I'm good with computers, report writing, team-building, presentation and evaluation.

PM me for a copy of my resume, and thanks very much in advance for your consideration!
