    Take that middle turning lane and make that into a deep grass median with no rails. Bus was on my side of the divided country highway.

    At least YOU didn’t go the way of Big Joe and Phantom 309, Kudos for having the presence of mind to compensate for the stupid placement of a school bus stop. Best of luck getting another chance

    Right, quick thinking on the drivers part. He was paying attention or it could have been much worse.

    Tried with old Schneider and they said not for another 3 years. I've got a few smaller companies checking me out currently with their insurance. I figure the small guys are usually more desperate for a good driver and willing to listen to what happened and why I had to do it than the large carriers. Hopefully one of them comes through with their insurance. Seems like these larger carriers are tightening up their safety. Spoke with half of the industry so far today and even the self insured guys generally aren't interested until I have that crash at minimum 3 years since it happened. Some of them are 5-7 years.
