Need a shower at TA!

    Hello fellow drivers! I usually get gas at a Pilot and shower there as well but here in Reno there is no Pilot. I had this happen before and I ended up shedding $15 for a TA shower. Seems a bit excessive dont you think? I am at TA again right now.and I was wondering if any of you could share your TA number with me if you have an extra shower on there? All thr truck drivers I asked around here pretty much told me the same thing: "we get gas at Pilot"

    Are you stuck there for days? Skiping a shower 1 day is realy that bog of a deal dea??? If so why didnt u stop and shower in your 30 min brake on the way there... Theres a flying j just down the road...

    Hahaha. I have a group in viber, we always share showers for the pilot. Nobody uses TA there, that's why I thought I'd ask here. I gave out a lot of showers before so I thought it wasn't a big deal to ask. Sorry.
    Snake, second day here and not sure when there will be a load. Could definitely drive a little away to get to pilot. Thanks for replies!

    "We get gas at pilot".... well that's your problem.. gas points dont amount enough for a shower... you gotta get diesel... go grab you 50 gal of diesel fuel and you will earn a shower...

    I drive a straight truck which runs on gas. We get half a shower credit for a fill up of 14 gallons of gas or more at Pilot. They dont have that at other truck stops unfortunately!

    Yes sir, it's a Ford Transit that had a box put on the back and the owner went a few feet into it to make a sleeper.

    The real issue is that if they give up access to the shower availability, then they likely give a backdoor to any accrued reward points... which are as good as cash.

    I could be wrong. I'd give you a shower IN PERSON. Never electronically.
