need a trainer from prime BAD

Just when you think you've heard it all. Next you'll have to pay them before they pay you....oh they do that now...it's called leasing.

 

Prime has a shortage of trainers for females. Female trainers, and male trainers willing to take on a female student.... There is a waiting list a couple months long (as I understand it) and they have stopped putting names on that list.

They arent taking any new Female trainees unless they already have a trainer lined up... Basically, if a female trainee applicant has a trainer they know who will take them, then they dont have to bother waiting for the list to open back up and jump all the way to the front of the line.

 

BTW... you should post an inquiry in the Prime section here... your chances might be a little better finding trainer there.

Im taking on a new trainee next week... so I am booked up for the next 50-80k miles with him...

I will ask around... cant promise anything. I know some male drivers are wary of the whole sexual harrassment deal...

There have been some legitimate claims...

but there have also been some BS claims, because the female trainee did poorly, or felt slighted...

I heard one cried wolf because she got tired of it and needed an excuse to get off the truck... her boyfriend couldnt train her, and was pressuring her... he had her train on another truck and the poor trainer had to have a sexual harrasment rap hung on him until the truth came out.

 

With all the things concidered sexual harasment these days it would be scary being in a truck with a woman trainee. You upset her for any reason she could accuse you of something and with no other witnesses it would be your word against hers.

 

I too alreadu had my CDL when I called PRIME. I just finished their orientation 2 weeks ago. We finished up on a FRIDAY and my trainer picked me up there the following Sat moring. Things have worked out wel since. We have been running produce form south Ca to the east coast. We did break 5000 miles this past week.

Never drove for Prime but have heard enough stories and met enough of their drivers to say you prolly will do better with Liberty.
