Need a Update on May

Oh I have possitive post. Just not about May. Can't post possitive things about a company this messed up.

 

Kabar, its not that bad, imo better than some other outfits i read about.

 

Does anyone know how far from a terminal or their primary route lane they hire from? Thanks.

Not far, They won't hire you if they can't get you home with ease. If you live in N. Ga. you won't have any problem.

 

I talked to May for my husband about a week ago. Was told they are hiring, but not out of California right now.

 

I just got off the phone with May and they are hiring except for people like me who have been out of the industry for awhile and just took a quick "refresher" course and reobtained my CDL. If I had taken a full 140 hour or more course they would have hired me now. Anybody got any idea where to find work for someone like me?

I've read too many horror stories about Prime, Swift, Stevens, Werner, CR England, ect. pretty much all the companies who advertise their training programs. I need someone who doesn't canibalize new drivers

 

And yet you even thought about working May? May is just like the rest. A training company who only cares only about there bottom line and nothing about there drivers. Heck if it's possible there are worse the swift ever thought about.

 

May is'nt so terrible IMO, but if i could get a offer for more money/hometime i would pursue it. been putting out several app.s / but too no avail.
