Get a classic , per EGR , drive it correctly , you will do well. Dad' s last classic was a 02 , with 475 C15 13od and 3.55 got high 7s . Truck was sweet , 84 in sleeper with the dinette setup.

I have the same setup and get 6.5 to 7.5 all day at 74 mph.
you can tune this one to disable that egr and it will produce same mpg!

Try to get pre EGR! 02 and older. You can build easier than a bank payment if you run regional and develope good relations with your vendors. Your fuel cost SHOULD NOT BE HIGHER than 35 percent of your gross pay after your carriers cut. Fuel mileage is KING.

We just bought a 2013 Freightliner Coronado Glider Kit and can't get 4.5 with it while bob-tailing to the shop. Shop says there's nothing wrong with it and we're only getting 400hp out of it. Any advice for that?

Soak all intake plumbing , turbo to head . Sounds like you have a boost leak?

I'd still buy 379 Petes as the resale is high and they have piano hinge doors, and are still purtier than a Freightshaker. BTW/If you Yahoo Freightliner you get "2013 Freightliner Cars" BWAHAHA
