account for your employment time, leave no gap unexplained. THAT they will find in a DAC report, if you skip an employer. even though no other information is available, you just said yourself, that employers name still shows up.

Would you mind posting a link or something official about this. Because I just went to their website and it is still up with no notes about closing.

Regardless of the scope of the accident if the driver is at fault it is an accident and is recorded as such. Accidents that are considered reportable are no different then the non-reportable as far as the drivers safety record is concerned. So if this driver has ANY at fault accidents regardless of hireright or not it needs to be listed. Let the prospective new company determine if it is a problem or not. Trust me on this. The 10 year driving history needs to be put down and all accidents listed.

I think he meant Central Refrigerated when he said the company is no longer in business and that you have nothing negative on your DAC report.

HireRight/DAC are still in business, he's just saying not to say anything more then you worked for Central Refrigerated and the dates.

If you bumped a trailer and did no damage I do not report it to a new company. Period. If companies wish to use Hireright a company currently being sued, more power to them. You do not need to report anything you don't want to report. The company may or may not hire you but in my opinion DAC reports are evil and should be shown the door by the trucking industry.

Any driver that has an accident and said accident is part of drivers driving history with that carrier is playing Russian roulette with a prospective new job by not answering this question if asked. DAC be ######. Jeez I wish people would understand that these people are friends with others on Facebook. Example, I know for a fact that HR people at USA Truck are Facebook friends with their counterparts at JB Hunt. Several months ago I was speaking with a guy that does the hiring with a carrier here in Hampton Roads. He told me most of the time if he has a contact with company XYZ he will message them on Facebook and eschew Hireright because a Hireright report costs him money. This is the new reality get over it. Just based on what I have seen in this business over the last five years in regard to communications between companies I would never tell a driver to not disclose negative information, ever!

Central as it was dosent exist, but Swift may have maintained the HR files. My HR file still says Central Ref even after the rebranding. So Swift Ref may actually have your file still. Not sure, but best to check with them. It could also depend when you left.

I swear that wasn't me that backed into that trailer blindside or scraped that Swift trailer with the open door when they were dropped too close together. Honest.

It's a minor accident. Most companies willing to take you on with that little experience won't hold it against you but if you lie and get caught lying they will hold that against you.
