Need Advice going back OTR

    Also, a lot of them want a stable work history. When I have a job, I show up everyday do a good job and I dont b**** about it but I have had the misfortune of ending up the the short end of the stick and then it seems to take forever to get another job. Im a tough ol' bird and try to keep my chin up but sometimes its just gets harder to do.
    I had a good local driving job one time until the owner sold it and the new owners eventually started slowly getting rid of everyone. The new owners were only afte the customers we had then started giving everyone the shaft. Missouri operates under the "Employee at Will" Law and in my opinion....thats a bunch of BS!!!

    lot of states are that way....

    I'd say, go to work for prime for a year. Save your pennies and see where things lead

    I am not a big fan of big companies.

    Another option is to go down and see what you can find for local O/O.

    check the local truckstops, run in to the local tire shops/truck shops.

    Put up business cards in local fuel stops etc. Call the local brokers and get them copies of your business card....

    Just options.
