I know this is redundant BUT NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER rely on someone else to take care of YOU!!!
No matter who or what entity..YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU AND YOUR LICENSE. I don't care how they stroke you, they can tell you anything they want, MAKE THEM SHOW YOU A COPY OF A PAID RECEIPT,and make a copy AND follow up on it...BABYSIT YOU CDL,it seems when it comes to your credit and your CDL EVERYONE is out to destroy it...
Need advice on a ticket I recieved

Yeah, Dude, YOU need to handle this since it's in YOUR name. Get squared away, then deal with your safety guy, who sounds like a flake.
-
Pay the ticket then be a constant pain in the ### until you are reimbursed, dont let up on them and go over their heads if you need to.
I have taken seemingly minor problems to a CEO with surprisingly positive results... I'm not afraid to ##### to anyone that will listen though. -
Just pay the ticket and move on because a couple hundred dollars aint a big deal just take care of it and protect your license and switch seat nice, slow and quietly you don't need to fight with them to get reimbursed and run fast before they mess with ur dac report.

You should have taken the truck for a proper inspection ASAP and brought a copy of the new inspection to court . You probably could have gotten the charges dismissed .
Always get an attorney . Never trust a safety department . -
Most of the guys I've seen taken away from the scale in handcuffs were over tickets their former company failed to pay.
Virginia was good at it!
If Texas suspends the op's CDL priveledges, his CDL is suspended everywhere and it is only a matter of time b/4 he is stopped and fined.
You can never 'depend' on your home state DMV to tell you in a timely fashion either. NJ fills one of those large mail 'hampers' w/ suspension notifications before sending them out in order to get the 'bulk rate', many never get the letter.
It is not unusual to run the MVR's for my anual review and find at least one NJ driver suspended. It was always a problem here as NJ has around 32 reasons to suspend; most of them have NOTHING to do w/ the actual driving record.
OP needs to pay this quick and file it under experience. -
Army guy,
you can check fl license status online, free.
I check mine every month..........
However, that does NOT show the status of your florida license in other states, ie texas !!

Well I got a hold of the right people in safety today and pretty much put my foot down. I actually got a real response from them and they paid the tickets. It was 195 $ for the citation and 325 $ for failure to appear in court. I called texas to comfirm and they were paid. Texas told me they sent a letter to florida that the issue was resolved and to clear my liscense as they sentt a letter in feb to florida to suspend my liscense. Florida hasnt suspended my liscense so hopefully I dont have a issue there. Lesson learned!!!!! No matter what you think of your company or who told you they would handle the issue double check for yourseld!!!!! Thx for the advice guys!
