Need advice regarding money situation

    turbo? what you gonna do when it needs injectors?

    what kinda engine? should be fairly easy to replace a turbo.

    I have seen ads in some of the trucking magazines, such as The Truckpaper that will lend money to make repairs and they hold the title. I believe you actually sign over the title to them until the bill has been fully paid. They then return the title to you.

    Talk to your shop. Many of them have finance companies that they work with for just such an issue.

    Quite honestly, if you're running on such a thin margin that you can't scratch together $1750, then you have no business being an owner operator.

    Try a credit union. If your credit is ##### as you state then you can expect the high rate. Honestly, on such a small loan amount what do you care how much the rate is. How much money are you loosing by not running the truck anyway?

    The last turbo I had to replace cost $2,700 for parts and labor. The turbo itself was a $1,500.
