    Already looking for another job. This one has no benefits. Only reason I don't want them having a copy of it is because I had to pay for it myself. Wouldn't bother me if she had at least offered to help pay for it. We also have a new driver starting tomorrow and I think he's going to get a medical card. If she pays for his, it won't matter then, I'm walking from the place

    They are required by law to keep it on file. Most companies will pay for the physical, but if she won't, that tells you a lot about the company. I would look for another job without including her in the resume. Tell her that you are going on vacation for a week, so you can get your delayed paycheck (most jobs have a week delay) and do not go back. At least that will hurt her for a couple weeks while she finds a replacement for you. [Insert evil laugh here]

    my laptop is a 2004 or 2005 model and it gets me on here every time that i want it to do so. but anyway. pretty much a moot point here. you need the card regardless of whether or not she has a copy. you did what was required so carry on now driver-

    That's right it is required before you even get assigned a truck....

    As far as the tires are concerned either she is broke and u need to move on .. or she is trying to freeze you out. . BY law she is required to maintain/keep her trucks up to D.O.T. standards are get hit with a fine just like the rest of us...

    Oh, she's far from broke. She was one of the ones who got 5 million to start this business when hurricane Katrina came through... She just conveniently forgets the trucks need stuff

    I'd quit. Tell her seeing that she is cheap and don't care about safety, she shouldn't mind that you quit.

    ask a DOT guy to look at your tires.

    I have and had new ones real fast.

    then say;
    "golly boss man, they pulled me for an inspection and saw the tires. told ya they were bad"

    not nice but it worked.
