Need better preactice test site for permit

well well well...you are right, just checked the PENNDOT manual and it also says all three.....but it does stress the Warning devices in a few other sections. I'm thinking universally that warning devices are standard, maybe in other states the fuses and fire extinguisher aren't? I havent seen any other states CDL book so who knows. I was just told to study the PENNDOT one as all the information was going to be the same for the most part. And so far that is the only discrepancy with that site I have see/heard about.

 

I used truckingtruth.com has each states manual with practice questions. Even has endorsements materials on there

 

Here in CT the book list all 3 also and the school keeps testing us the same. We are also told as part of or skills test on the pre-trip we have to show DOT all 3 too.

When I took the test a few tips go slow read then re read most of the time you can cancel one of the three answers out making it a 50/50 question. Next don't answer it if you don't know it. At the bottom of the screen you can skip the question if you don't know it. I don't know know If there is a limit on how many you can skip but I managed to pass each test without a wrong answer and just skiing the questions I didn't know. It helps to just read from cover to cover as well. Hope this helps someone.
