This will be clear as mud straight from the Great White North. As far as I understand as a US driver you would be running under Cycle 1 simply be the nature of US HOS. My last company had a box on the paper logs to check for Cycle 1 going into Canada. If you want some serious reading go find the parts about off-duty deferral. I don't know how the Canadians do it. Thanks to having Elogs it figures all this stuff for me.
