How? By talking to a "computer"? No thanks! If I could talk to someone person to person, then I could reveal some serious violations about a company. But I refuse to sit down and list dates and names. I ain't doing all their "leg work". I can reveal what this company is doing and it is up to the DOT to go in and "dig out" the violations.

I would love to talk to a DOT official about this one particular company and I am talking about some serious violations.

Send me a P.M. and let me have the company information and the details. I'll forward it to the appropriate people. A compliance review might present some problems for the carrier.

I run constuction trucks locally here in Boston and I was looking at my '09 RM MC atlas in the Wieghts & Size section and saw something I found hard to believe. The way I read it, it looked to me that pulling a 53' trailer in alot of states you are very limited to road access just the major hywy's. I can't see having to pull a over size permit just to make a delivery. Please let me know if you would. Hope you had a good vay-cay diesel bear.

Oh , believe it . It's not just 53 footers . It's 102 " wides too . Much of it isn't enforced but every once in a while a local cop will make an issue of it . That happened in KY a while back to flatbedders trying to take KY 431 south to Logan Aluminum in Russelville . A local started fining them and turning them around . The Governor had to get a bill passed to remove the restriction .
