Probably not the smartest choice but he's done worse. He got a surprise dot breathalyzer first thing 6am by one of the companies employees. I don't know how random it was but that's irrelevant.

Actually, that's very relevant if he was about to run a load or on the board for dispatch. He's done worse?

Can you drive for two companies at the same time? When you have your authority as an owner operator and drive as an employee of yourself can you also drive for another company?

JMHO. If there are any contracts that bind you to only drive exclusively for the one company. If not, then you can work for whom you please.

What if I am not sure yet if I want to suspend my authority and I want to try out being a driver for someone else and see how it is. What if they have the contract saying that I can't work for anyone else? Do I have to quit on myself or fire myself before I drive for them? How do I do this paperwork wise? And if I do that does that mean I need to suspend my authority before working for them? And then if it doesn't work out do I have to reemploy myself by filling out another job application and doing another preemployment drug screen for my company? I am so confused any help you guys out there give me is really really appreciated.
