Has anybody else seen the YouTube video of the motorcycle rider with the helmet cam that was speeding and had an off duty cop pull a gun on him without identifying himself as a police officer ? Guess who the DA wanted to prosecute ?

According to this many hobbies would be considered commercial . You of all people should know much depends on whether related expenses are deducted as business expenses or just accepted as personal hobby expenses and not deducted .
Having paid sponsorship is another issue and sponsors' logos displayed is a dead giveaway .

Just stating what has happened to some and what they were told.

Sponsors are a dead giveaway like you said.

I agree with you 100% because we all suspect that the one doing the recording also has the ability to do the editing

Looked and looked and lost where I found the answer a year ago and it has probably changed anyway. Hiring a new driver who has a recent physical and drug test. Can I use and may the current physical and drug test, with verification, for pre-employment tests or do I need to have him get both new physical and drug test? If existing can be used what is the eligible tim frame? Thanks.

Medical card should be valid for as long as it says it is. Dunno on drug test, though I've worked more than one job that never required it at all.

You have to have records showing YOU drug tested under your authority. If your leased on, then he would have to drug test under their authority.

Most medical cards are accepted by new employers, if you have the long form in addition to the card, and they usually require 1 year left on it, but legally i believe it just needs to be valid still

hi, maybe anyone has a DOT checklist. my company been in service just for few months, and I dont know if I have all the stuff that dot requires to have in the office. So I want to make sure I have everything before Dot comes and audits company. Also if independent contractor lease you a driver with the truck, and all you do is just dispatch him, does he need to fill out app for employment the same as company driver, or there should be some other application for contractors drivers?
    I appreciate your help
