Try another starter company and volunteer to get retrained.Don't go with Carolina Cargo though. They're way worse then Swift.

One more thing about DAC. I want to put a myth to bed. Just because a company does not report drivers information to DAC does not mean they can't contact DAC and purchase a report. This information is just like a credit report. Anyone with a legitimate need can purchase an ad hoc report.

Some that don't use dac will purchase the service just to destroy a drivers career.I sued a company one of the settlements was that my lawyer cleaned up the garbage this company put on my dac.this company has never used dac till then.i sued him for wrongful termination.

As you should have. A persons word and reputation should be fought for.

Which is why everyone should request a copy of theirs from time to time - especially those that have recently separated from a company either involuntarily (fired) or voluntarily (quit) under adverse circumstances. Sometimes people do hold a grudge and can screw you over via DAC, but just like your credit report, it's a good idea to check out your own DAC.

do not blame Swift for your learning (or lack of it) . no company can teach you everything you need to know, it all depends on the space in your head, in between your ears. you either have it, or you don't. obviously, you could not figure out things, except to put the blame on Swift.

sounds to me you did not get out and look enough times, in each situation.

frankly, i hope you do not get another job in this industry.

You know about the company so you should tell them rather then the poor drivers finding out the hard way.any sane person does not need a job that bad.when drivers leave a bad company why reccomend another bad company? Doesn't make since.

It's known as work ethic. Some of us would rather work, even at a less than desirable job, than be unemployed or flip burgers. Professional burger flippers and grocery baggers don't know anything about work ethic. To them it's always someone elses fault. Would I work for Carolina Cargo? Yes, I would in a heartbeat if that's what it took to get back on the road. So, you see, I would take my own advice if I was determined to be an OTR driver. If anyone doesn't like it, I would ask, "OK, will the company you drive for hire me?" If the answer is "NO" then I would say, "####" then. I know what it's like because I've been in bad situations. I got really tired of other drivers telling me they wouldn't work for the company I worked for, so I always asked the question,"OK, will your company hire me?" Then they start blathering and blabbering and making excuses. I have the utmost respect for anyone with a strong work ethic and refuse to be professional grocery baggers and burger flippers.

In this situation don't point the finger of blame at Swift. Swift may be crappy company to work for but they gave the OP not 1 but 2 chances and he blew it. It don't matter if OP works for a great company or a crappy driver mill OP by his driving record is not cut out to be a driver. Any other company good or bad will see this too.
