Hey yall. I have been trying to find a cb handle. I don't want it to be clichè but I want it to make sense. The truck it is in is an old beat up 86 Chevy truck. I know this isn't an 18wheeler but no-one else will help me. Can you give me some advice or even a name? Please and thank you

Like getting the title of a Marine, a CB handle is "earned", never "given". You don't just walk up to a complete stranger and say, "Hey, give me a nickname." You have to tell us about yourself, your interests, hobbies, things you have done, some direction for us to take the nickname or CB handle.

For example, if your old beat up truck was a Ford, you could play off of the common acronym for F O R D (Fixed or Repaired Daily) or the more "colorful language" version and it would not be a stretch to call you "FUBAR". Then you could explain to folks you had an old beat up Ford that was no longer fixable.

Since I no longer use mine, nor my CB, I would give mine to you, but knowing nothing about you, there is a very likely possibility that it wouldn't fit you, so it wouldn't make sense.

Guys I do apologize for not knowing some of this stuff. I have just admired truckers and when my grandpa passed I inherited his cb. So I dont know any of these restrictions. But if my post doesn't be long I can delete my post. I'm 16 and don't know much yet and haven't ever done anything to earn a name. so if you would rather me delete then I can just move to a different website

No need to worry. This is the place for that stuff. When it comes to CB handles, there are no restrictions. Your question is also well within the TTR Terms of Service. Pull up a chair, relax and stay a while.

I will throw this one at you and see if fits: "Dying Breed" I say that because there are becoming less and less drivers who use the CB. At your age, that would certainly be unusual because you have just begun to live.

What do you think? Like it?
