Yes I am. I stated this at the end of my 1st post. And for the record, Prime didn't fire me because of this, but they said they would put this situation as me mutually quitting from them.
I have been compliant with the usage. But they tell me that the machine I've been using isn't treating my sleep apnea. I even did 2 seperate sleep studies in the past 2 days, and thise machines they used didn't help treat my SA either.
But since supposedly, since my SA is so severe, wouldn't I be in the same situation with those companies you mentioned anyway? I suppose I can call them and see what they say.

Are these your 1st ever sleep studies and newly diagnosed or have you been diagnosed previously and been using cpap for a long time? Still trying to grasp the specifics of Your situation. Who was Prime using for the sleep studies? What kind of machine are they saying you need? Cpap, Bipap, ECT.....

Oh, sorry about that. I first got with sleep apnea just after I got my license in late June or Early July. This is the 1st time I've been diagnosed with SA, but I never did any study for it before, until I joined Prime. I'm currently using the Phillips Dreamstation CPAP machine. It has a modem and the company that Prime uses to moniter my compliance is Cardinal Sleep. They are located at one of the hotels that Prime owns.
As for what machine Prime wants me to get now, they said it was a machine that can directly control my breathing, but I forgot what it was called.

Don't matter what they want, it is what your doc wants. Get someone to give you a treatment plan and go through the plan with them carefully and then have him deal with Prime.

By the way, I never heard of these machines costing more than a grand and I've bought a few in my time.

Ideally, that would be the plan, but I don't have the money to pay for a prolonged sleep study. That's why I need another job ASAP, that might probably overlook this sleep apnea issue. Some suggested going with a smaller company, but I'd like to know which small company in the NYC area is worth checking out.
Also, since I didn't finish my PSD training contract with Prime, now I owe the reminder of that contract, which is close to $5,000. So now I have that to worry about too.

Or you could lose some weight. Not eating and exercising is free. If your bmi is normal, no one will ever ask you to do a sleep study as a condition of employment

I don't know about the BMI. But questions ARE asked. And it's not hard to figure out where the examiner is going. It's really easy to just say no. or yes. To whatever the questions are. and NOT give answers that will implicate you to some BS.

As far as i'm aware. It's only the megas playing with the sleep apnea BS. Stay away from the megas and you won't have to worry about SA or your DAC. There are millions of LOCAL companies that won't F with you like the megas do.

I don't know why most are so worried about job prospects and prefer to work for megas. Working for a mega is just asking to be stabbed in the back. Stop working for megas. Be home every night. Let them go bankrupt. Then maybe we'll have less gooberment BS to deal with.
