Need Help, can't pass the CDL test

I obey the law. The only thing I do and to tell the truth is speed. But only when Im going on a long drive. After that I obey and follow the laws. I think I can drive any vehicle, all I just need is training and knowledge on trucks. Every driver starts from a beginning and grows his way up depends on how quickly he can learn. I know people back then that use to get their CDL but didnt even know how to back up a truck. He knew how to drive and he did everything a truck driver could have done but the only problem he had was he couldnt back up. He went through training many times and still could not so after he gave up the trucking job but does he have his CDL? Yes he do. He love the trucking job but I cant find a way to help him. He graduated from Roadmaster in Orlando back in 2001 but I think they gave him a chance. I dont even know how but he got his Class A. What im saying is and trying to explain here is that some drivers can learn everything out on the road and when they are in training. For instance my uncle trained a guy, this guy got his CDL on his own. He couldent drive well he couldent do nothing. He didnt know nothing at all in trucking ZERO. He had the CDL but didnt know nothing at all in trucking. Well my uncle was a owner operator and started training in him since 2007. It took him 2 years, 2 full years for him to get the complete know. When he was out team driving with my uncle did he know these rules? Did he know the laws? He learned everything out on the road and belive me now he is a professional. He made my uncle struggled alot alot alot. Kept stalling the truck, could not back, couldent do anything but my uncle took his time and made him learned everything. Well now to be honest he is a owner operator making money. He know how the business works and he have experience to train drivers to. So those 2 examples are good. I understand ya want to help me understand that the rules, laws are important but I think what comes first is knowing how to drive a truck. And those are using your brain

When I was at truck driving school, they handed out a copy of the test that DMV gives you. I took it home and had my wife ask me all of the questions over and over until I knew all the answers to all the questions. If I can pass it, you can too. Good luck!

Here's an idea for you: instead of going on the INTERNET for help; why not talk to your uncle or another owner/op that he may know to mentor you and give you the help you need.

 

Did you study all the 3 parts at once? And how long it took you to know them?

 

He still own his equipment but not currently in the trucking business since March. I also cant reach him because his number had changed and didnt give me a call back for the new number. I think the forum would of been better anyways. There are many drivers that can help andswer your questions. At least now I know what to do and I been on my 2nd day studying. Havent got to airbrakes and combination yet. 2-3 weeks might be good for all 3 because they are a lot to study. Every state has the same booklet I here so I should be good to pass it at Colorado.
