    And I am in the northeast a lot of rough rocky trails. About 2 years and it still worked like new when I sold the Jeep this past summer

    I'm kind of fond of the new Unidens for durability, especially the way they are made.


    PFJ is running a special on the SSB version right now, and I don't have the particulars other than some kind of rebate, if it's instant,like they did when I bought mine, the price is effectively discounted at the time of purchase.

    I'd spring for something with the weather bands for the purpose of this thread, I bought one to get the weather bands in a unit that fit the truck as it is. I have a 148GTL, and a 29 LTD Chrome for spares.
