There is no literally scratched anything, you contacted their truck with yours and that's the problem. I've been hit a few times by people who refuse to either get out and look or just can't drive and each time it wasn't something that I would consider minor for any reason.
Tonythetruckerdude and Raiderfanatic Thank this. -
In all truth there is no such animal as a minor accident...there are only different levels of damage done. To the OP I know it's gonna seem harsh , BUT in the future when you do find work , and you will I'm sure. Always , always , get out and look before backing in anywhere....take your time , don't let anyone rush you , get out and look , even if the other drivers waiting are laughing and making jokes , get out and look , try and get some to help you ( act as a spotter) if the need arises , then get out and look , always be sure to make sure of whats back there before you start backing in anywhere , then GET OUT AND LOOK.....see a pattern forming here......

I recommend also doing team driving your first year. That way you have someone to assist you in tough situations.

Move the hell out of Florida.
There are so, so, so, so many threads, posts, and replies on these boards from newbies and wannabe's from the miserable, miserable, miserable state of Florida with the same exact problem: FLORIDA!
At this point, the only thing that can be said is: Move out of Florida....or choose a different path.
