Need Help DMV messed me up

I read it. You stated no major carrier would touch the OP with a suspension. I had a suspension on my record and schneider hired me. I'm pretty sure they're a mega carrier.

 

Ii had a suspension on my Delaware license 8 months before I got hired by Stevens. It was an administrative suspenstion for not paying a ticket.

Tu the OP, DMV didn't mess you up brother, you have to pay your fines. I forgot about my ticket and got poinced on by the Middletown PD one morning on lhe way to work. They pulled me over leaving the neighborhood and gave me a ticket for driving while suspended. That was all I got so they must have been looking for me. I pled.to failure to reinstate. DMV didn't cause my problem, I did by not paying the ticket.

Get it straightened out, reinstated and go ahead and apply, just be up front, be honest, and take some responsibility.

 

How does someone forget to pay a ticket or forget to pay fines?

 

I had the same problem. I sold a motorcycle in VA then moved to TX. The guy never transferred the bike and the plates were still good, but I canceled the insurance. They sent a letter, but I never got it. My license was suspended in VA, but It took a year before TX was notified. I already had my TX license and until I went to renew it years later I had no idea. Was suspended for 5 years. I paid all the fines (was beyond pissed I had to pay VA) got my license and 2 weeks later had a trucking company hire me. Mega carrier too.
