We can't locate the OBD port on a 1993 378 Pete tractor with a Cat motor. It is not under the dash or near the starter as we thought it would be. We have had the truck for awhile but just got a Blue Point scanner. Thanks in advance.

they dont have OBD. Sometimes they were under the dash on the d/s 6 pin deutsch, or they were located on the engine d/s when they had ECAP 9 pin deutsch

    Thanks Dutch,
It doesn't seem to have a 6 or 9 pin in either place.
The old girl is going to Cat on Tuesday, we just wanted to see what our scanner showed before we took it in.

That isn't very specific. Is it a peec engine?

I don't know for sure, but I will find out.
It is original to this truck with at least one rebuild on it.
I have much to learn about and I thank you all for your patience.

The only diagnostic port will be under the hood around the ecm, probably right on top. It will roughly be the size of one of those old film containers, with a little cap that screws off to expose the plug. Those have to be read by an ecap machine.
