@Moose1958 will know if there's a required training course for the hazmat endorsement.

adiablushing Thanks this. -
Hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is that you actually have to attend a training course. Due to a change in the law at the beginning of this year. I was told that you cannot take the test until you have completed this new training course. Does anybody know if that's accurate?

The last time I went after them I dropped about 7,000 keeping the wife’s record clean. The look of dismay on the cops face was priceless and I would have gladly spent an other 3 k to see the district judges face!GreenPete359 and adiablushing Thank this. -
Let me guess the trooper was in a dark colored Challenger that the badges on doors are really hard to see or Ghost lettered......

About the ELDT Regulations
FMCSA’s Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) regulations set the baseline for training requirements for entry-level drivers. This applies to those seeking to:
- Obtain a Class A or Class B CDL for the first time;
- Upgrade an existing Class B CDL to a Class A CDL; or
- Obtain a school bus (S), passenger (P), or hazardous materials (H) endorsement for the first time.
If an applicant who obtained a CLP prior to February 7, 2022, and obtains a CDL before the CLP or renewed CLP expires, the applicant is not subject to the ELDT requirements.
Any individual who meets one of the exceptions for taking a skills test in 49 CFR Part 383 is also exempt from the ELDT requirements.adiablushing Thanks this. -
