I don't think so because after I put it back together, I primed the crap out of it before turning over. It roughly idled for about three seconds and then it never ran again

Unfortunately you are spot on. Towed in,drove out. No choice but to believe them. Maybe you can let everyone know how powerful the DD15/16 is when it is not forced to "eat it's own crap and then filter it" Amazing ain't it?

With my emissions delete and a 10% power increase, I've witnessed my torque and hp go up to 660hp/ 2250lbs using dlink while I was pulling a load that weighed about 100k. With 4.33 gearing, I pulls 100k+ loads like a 60series pulls a 70k load. That's the truth. Also I get better mileage too.
So it's definitely a love/hate relationship. Unfortunately with my experience, it's more hate and I feel like divorcing the truck. I'd rather keep my cats for their reliability or 60 series for a cheap fix.

i guess this problem was ecm related not injector's fault. it's good tradition now to change all injectors when fuel problem related truck is entering freightliner dealerships. however not always there is a need to change them. basic idle balance test will show bad injector in fuel system..

    It wasn't an ecm issue

True...you were definitely in a bind! And that's a very tough place to be. But that's water under a bridge as you are now back on the road (hopefully) earning money again!

If you got it to idle for about 3 seconds...you have to literally run full throttle for about a couple mins to purge ALL air out. That was probably your one chance...granted you weren't running off of ether for those 3 seconds.

I'm up and running and it's running strong. Except I'm changing bad tires right now... Smh. It never ends. But yes, I think that was my last chance and should have taken it. But I didn't know, which sucks. Usually when I change filters, it'll hiccup for about ten seconds then it's golden. I didnt use ether when it kicked over. I think it was just a little bit of fuel in the injectors or something. Definitely lesson learned though. Just one more section of the engine in the books that I now understand.
