I’m considering to lease on to Landstar and want to know how are the Owner Operator at Landstar (dry van) doing right now, how much do you gross per week on average, or how much is the average current rate at Landstar? I’m willing to go anywhere except Cali and New York,

Now is not the best time. Fuel is high and rates are low. Now is a good time to do contract freight. Most of that is covered by bco's that already know about it. It is my opinion that it would be hard to learn the system at this time. If your bills are low and you have some money in the bank that would give you time to learn.

By contract freight, do you mean “dedicated”?

That's what he's trying to do. If the people that know things don't help him it says a lot about them.
