Need help installing a new equalizer/spring hangar on great dane flatbed

    You're gonna have to drop those axles. I usually put jackstands under the dot bumper if it's in good shape.

    Not drop the axle totally, but lower with a jack till you get enough room. Leave the front of the front spring, and back of the back spring alone.

    A floor jack works better than a bottle jack, cause the axles will need to move forward and back while coming down.
