Hmmmm. I'd think no. Maybe drive a class B straight truck?? I'm not even sure if you would be trusted to run a forklift, tbh. But I don't think warehouses require your driving record to decide if you're hired or not. So maybe give that kind of job a shot?

Cut that out man. This driver is only in his/her 1st year. We all fouled up in our first year. Hell many of us have failed up several years in. In trucking, it's just no way you won't learn some lessons the hard way. My first year I had 2 backing incidents, one if which I tore a hood of a guy's truck....oops.

That must've been a hell of tree if they canned you, a big oak tree maybe? Lol, just look back and laugh and learn. I'll advise you to take some time with your atlas and do some map study before each run. Someone will take a chance on you. It won't be the most glamorous or highest paying company, but you'll have a job. Just take your time, and focus on honing your skills. You'll get better.

When chinatown starts recommending box truck companies you know you are in trouble.

I know someone who had a rollover. Similar situation as yours. He let his tires veer off the road and rolled over. He found a job but the company had to fight for him to get covered by the insurance company. I think he did like propane work or hauling ice. You’ll have to find a job like that until time passes.

    Yea I thought the same
I really don’t want to do it. From what I’m hearing most people have to get out of trucking for years due to the rollover being on there record and I don’t want to do that. I am an old man changing careers at this age is a death sentence. I’ve worked too hard to get this far to throw away it’s not like I ever wanted to get in these accidents. I’m genuinely not a reckless speeding driver sigh but it is what it is. If I have no choice then I will take it. I don’t have enough money to last a couple months and the last job has me stuck in Indiana tryna find my way back home.
You guys post has been the only thing giving me hope and keeping me together if I’m being honest

You've never driven on a restricted road?
