My trainer said that when we get to the destination he would ask for the next run to be a solo run. Is that possible? Would that be considered load abandonment ?
Driver...from that post, sounds like he wants to ditch you and get a load that is without you less I miss understood.

Otherwise , think through what you are contemplating doing . If its still worth it , do it. DAC be dammed. -

DAC? Are you guys serious? Obviously not!!!
He is a student, a trainee, a rookie! Not responsible for the load (that is not abandoned, the truck is still attached, the truck is still under operation....)
Don't make up stories, just tell the truth and go your own way...you are under NO OBLIGATION ... unless it is CR England, and even then, your obligation is to repay the school loan, not to the load or the trainer!!!
BTW...it isn't "DAC"... "Hire Right"......so since these other "claimed geniuses" don't even know the correct name of the company....THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY SPEAK!opium eater, FloTheWaitress, RickG and 6 others Thank this. -

Had something similar happen to a buddy of mine. He and his girlfriend were running team. They got a load out of Washington going to Florida. They stop off to see her kids for the holidays, fiddle fart around for a couple days, and then she decided that she wanted to stay home for a few more days. The company had to change everything and redispatched the load for a solo driver. Of course the load is late.
This is a very interesting thread for several reasons. Lots of times, you see people with big blemishes on their record trying to figure out who will hire them since none of the mega carriers will. You wonder how someone screwed up and got to that point. Well, heres one in the making, gang.
And of course, everyone would really like to hear why this guy is willing to risk any future possibilities of ever driving for any decent company.
