I jumped ship 3 weeks into my training. For better money and no yelling by trainer.

Sorry milo for not sticking with my obligation.

Ahhh , finally, the OP . Yes , you need not commit your life to said company. As an adult , you do have the right and freedom to quit said company. You are still required to repay the monies they invested in you but you already know that . But as a company that invested time and money into your training , you must also except that they could put a negative mark on your DAC as they see fit and make it harder for you to seek other employment. That's their right. Be carefull in what you ask for. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. They are not required to share your training record with other companies. You might have to start all over from the beginning.

Ya know, I think I posted a reply just the other day about, um, RESEARCH, and um, NOT COMMITTING TO A COMPANY FOR SCHOOL. Something like, go to a CDL school so you aren't obligated to a company. Yeah, I think that was it.

Obviously they could do all those things. I don't try and make rash decisions that why I posted it on here, talk to my trainer to see what the best option is, talk to other people who have gotten off and if its been hard for them to find a job. I'm trying to make the most informed decision possible. And as far as me being an adult I have a great work history this would really be the first job I did this at but in the end I have to do what's right for me. I appreciate the insight from everyone and already posted the decision I've made so thank you all for your input.
