Tankers has had me blind-side maybe 10 or 20% of my backs where dry van I may have blind-side backed 5 times in 20 years. Not all tanker customers are to/from 50 year old facilities with no spce, but chemical/HazMat customers are often very tight.
Need help, picking a job....

I picked up a hazmat load in the dry van at a chemical plant...oh mur gawd haha. It was tight and i had to blind side..handled it like a pro!! Twice as i picked up another load .... makes me feel real good. They had trains and tracks running through there and the dock i was in left the nose of the truck on the tracks... i was like ugh.... they told me it was fine.

One mistake and i woulda been sitting in the ditch at that plant because there was a big drainage ditch where i had to back.

So if i do take the job, can i prevent being fired first by resigning?
I read in a another thread that if you resign first (before being fired) with a date and time they cant say they fired you....but can you do this while out on the road?
