Need help picking smart phone

My wife always says, "you have to be 10% smarter than the device you're trying to operate." But I say, 90% of the time you just have to remember to plug it in (or charge it up).

 

I have been with USCC since the bag phone days. Their network works very well in the Midwest. Many dead spots in the west and southeast. I use the data stream to download pdf. 75% of the time it works well enough. The rest of time is frustrating . I haul a lot of OD and use the data to get my permits and rate cons along with various other documents. I have spent an hour downloading one page. With the signal fading in and out.
I was a happy customer for many years. I ran between Indiana and Wisconsin. Now I run the lower 47 and am searching for a different provider.
