I agree with the fiancé being at your jugular now. It DOES NOT get better if you marry this one. Se either supports you in your job, or she doesn't and to me, she sounds controlling. Now if you are indeed "P" whipped, then I hope you turned in your man card months ago.

Geez, I didn't realize this was a marriage counseling site.

I wouldn't seriously consider the advice of a bunch of gross, mostly lonely and divorced pigs on your marital affairs.

It's better to mind our own business and answer the questions on table instead if making crass, revolting statements about people's relationships.

TRUE ! if you are seeing trouble this early about being gone as a driver, just imagine what it'll be like when you're married for 5 years with two children and she's tired and lonely. ( while you're lain up in your sleeper at Flying J relaxing for the night hundreds of miles away)

I've said it a thousand times.... IT TAKES A SPECIAL KIND OF WOMAN TO BE MARRIED TO A TRUCK DRIVER!

there is no truer statement ever uttered in this industry.

Until I saw a " picture" in return... I'd be cautious with the pigs reference.

It's easy to throw stones, but from my observations these past 25yrs only about 5% even have the room to consider judging others in their own privacy , much less on a public forum.
I've seen "waddlers" of both sexes sitting behind the seat choking down Flying J pizza and chicken wings past their floppy jowls. So , sit there and chuckle at them ,Ms America, I doubt SERIOUSLY that you have much room to talk.
As far as the marital advice goes , I would say we could be a very good source of information for him. We've been through it. We know what is likely to happen. No one warned me (us). I possibly could have saved a marriage with some changes to a schedule , or a career change.

Now is the time for decisions on this matter , if he has some real information.

Three careers with the highest divorce rate........Truck Drivers......Commercial Fisherman........and Cops. Don't want to scare you and wish you all the best but it is what it is... Jammer said it best takes very special women to be married to a truck driver.

    G.Anthony Thanks this.
