I would say try SE(Southeastern Freight Lines) because I think they have a terminal near you and EPES does also. I am not sure what they require as for experience but you can check into it and try to get something lined up.....
Need help please!

Like "Miss *insert title here* "
I couldn't have said it with such eloquence as you did however. (I could have tried mind you). -
Round of applause, gents, for reinforcing lots of negative perceptions about truck drivers.
Notice that I don't care what you look like or anything else about you really to think your advice is a bunch of crap.
If local work will help this couple's relationship stay strong and move forward, that's what they should do. Unfortunately I don't have any advice off the top of my head for this drivers area. -

Six: Who is that?
Mason: That's my ol lady.
Six: What is she doing in the car?
Mason: She's fine. She will be alright.
Six:Take her home.
Mason: She will be okay
Six: You're an hour late. It's going to get really hot. In an hour and a half, you're going to eat lunch for 2 hours. Then she will be ready to go home. You won't have enough done to go home and you will have an argument and the police will be called on my property. Take her home or find another job.
Mason: Well, I don't trust her being at home...
Seen it a thousand times.
A waitress in a truckstop has her boyfriend sitting around watching her because he doesn't trust her. He sees her interact with the patrons and gives her an ultimatum, "Either you quit that job or we are finished!" You can warn her how it's going to end up, but she will quit the job. A year later, you see her again. She's back working and her boyfriend dumped her anyway.
Seen it a thousand times.
A cop pulled me over to get a better look at my car. "Man! that's an awesome car. I had one of these but my ex wife wanted me to get rid of it. I should have gotten rid of her instead."
Seen it a thousand times.
I understand about love and family and whatnot, but I also understand that ULTIMATUMS are the Death of Relationships.the454kid, nate980, positiveone and 1 other person Thank this. -
If both parties can't work as a team to meet certain goals it doesn't work. Either your a team player or your out.

Lol appreciate all of the advice, out of the 6 months otr I've learned that you can make good money without having to stay out 2, 3, 4 weeks at a time. Regional or semi local fits our needs

I only made an attempt to put the shoe on the other foot. I ,personally, don't wish for photos of any other than my lovely better half. If that was a misunderstanding... my apologies. If you honestly thought I was fishing for some... send them to someone else. I have no desire.
Some of us, possibly you included , take care of ourselves out here and attempt to keep a very positive public image. We stay clean , properly dressed , we don't curse in public/ truck stops , and we act like we have common sense when dealing with the general public. I could only assume that you belong in this category with us. If not , I sincerely urge you to consider joining as soon as possible.
The marital advice I am very "qualified " to give as related to MY experiences. That's all I can say about that subject because it's MY experiences , and he ASKED. I can testify to very similar beginnings that morphed later into multi-adulterous affairs , by her , spanning several years that completely unraveled everything that had been built over a long term affecting every single facet of my , hers, and all three children's lives.... TO THIS DAY.
So , yes, I do ... in effect know of what I speak. But, each situation is different and I would hope the OP would only apply the advice where it may apply , if it does, and if it may possibly pertain to his life.
YOU called us pigs, remember ? We were only trying to help the young man traverse a highway we've traveled.
The best solution is to go HOME. Find local work. Spend each night beside her , and raise the children alongside her , daily. Sometimes we are forced , in this world, and this economy, to make choices to provide.
All too often those choices burn us and leave scars that don't heal , though those around us can't see them.
My apologies, to you , if my original response offended you as I myself took offense to being referred to a pig. That's not what I am.
Safe travels.BostonTanker, Ordy19 and cerberus63 Thank this. -
They have 2 Extra Board driver openings in GSO. If you are accepted, make sure they don't force you to take their health insurance. The insurance premiums are way too high. Most of the time, Extra Board drivers are exempt from being forced to take the insurance.
