My 75 year old Mother was coming home from Grove, OK on the night of April 6th about 9:30pm. She makes this trip from Chelsea every Saturday to go play her bass guitar with her friends up in Grove. She was west bound on Hwy.60/69 between Afton and Vinita, OK. A semi truck was in front of her and another was approaching them east bound. The truck in front of her made a left turn (south) on Hwy. 82, in front of the oncoming semi. The east bound semi hit the back of the one that turned. The impact caused him to loose control and he hit my mother. The truck that turned onto 82 kept going towards Langley. My Mom's car is totaled and from what the Highway Patrolman said, so is the semi that hit her. She sustained injuries and is now recovering. We would like some help getting the word out about this hit and run semi in case someone may have seen a truck with a damaged trailer. Considering the damages on the second semi, the hit and run semi would have a lot of damage to the back of his trailer. Could you please help? She has incurred medical bills and the loss of her car. She is a widow on a fixed income. If you have any info about this semi, please call the OHP (nine-one-eight) 256-3388.
    Thank you,
    Sherry Bickford

I hope you get some insight but why wouldn't the truck who hit you mother be at fault because he failed to maintain control of his vehicle? I am just asking!!! Good Luck on your mission!
