Well, that Paccar trash is powering the best selling tractors in Europe, so I suppose soemthing must be good about them.

Our lease fleet has switched from cummins to paccar. Less operating costs and maintence costs. No carbon packing, fuel in the coolant, or pressurizing. We have opened up very few paccar engines compared to cummins.
daf105paccar Thanks this. -
one engine can be good for Europe and be troublemaker for USA. mx-13 is for sample. -
You look at mileage which does nothing to show the wear on a engine.
Hours is the way to compare combined with where and how the truck was used. -

Fist of all, that is a very important change to the truck, so it would be necessary to get a new certification.
Originally it would have been a Euro V truck, after this modification it would be something like a Euro I truck. You would never get it certified.
So after this modification, the truck would no longer be road-legal.
The truck has to be checked for road wordiness every year by a certified dealer, and this includes environmental checks. No escape there.
