Now I have no codes, just building soot in an hour then "re-gen required". Wont do a passive re-gen so I have to stop and do a parked re-gen. The DPF and EGR were cleaned and inspected about 10 engine hours ago. Ran the truck one day, went back to the shop, removed DPF and EGR, both were completely plugged with soot. Did a snap test to see if any engine issues, nothing was found. BACK TO SQUARE ONE... AGAIN!

Seems odd that they are clueless on this. If it's really building that much soot in an hour, something upstream is causing it. Did they check the fuel doser? I have seem them clog up and hang open, which drips fuel in the exhaust. I have also seen exhaust leaks cause excessive soot because the DOC does not get hot enough, when this happens you usually see excessive smoke during an active regen coming from the leak.

I do not know what you're problem is, but at this point they should have taken it for a long test drive with the computer hooked up at least have a direction to go based of sensor readings.
