If I paid a grand a month, the thieves at best could steal a toilet or the landlord provided appliances, or my bean bag chair and 13" tv...

Get rid of the apartment and save all that money to buy a house that's what i'm going to do. No sense paying all that money for something you use a few days a month. Rent a hotel room for a few days when you are off.

Naw I have a good spot for that 1k. Everyone I've seen looks really friendly. I've been to other apartments and this ones probably the safer one. I'm ok with the rent. It's not the rent that's the problem here. 1k is not expensive either. Sure I could go to a 600 or 700 place where all the police come every other week cuz of a shooting. But I'd rather be out 300 for peace of mind on my property.

Lol the apartments not the issue here. 400 dollars a week is. Away from my own bed for minimum 5 weeks at a time for 400 per week is a disgusting joke.

OK, you seem to be in a good position to change jobs.
Some tanker outfits have tuition reimbursement & some reimburse up to $6K or $7K.
    Trimac Transportation
    McKenzie Tank Lines
    CTL Transportation
    SVTN
    Superior-Carriers
    Tidewater Transit
    Schneider Bulk
All the above hire new cdl grads even if the website has "experience required." One of McKenzie Tank Lines trainers posts on here sometimes, but I don't remember his screen name.
With Trimac Transportation, once you qualify for their Elite Fleet and transfer to the Elite Fleet, you can make over $100K if you have a strong work ethic, which by your posts it seems you have.

Move to Las Vegas; don't have to worry about heating bill there and rent prices are resonable.

What, you live in a tool shed? A grand a month for rent is cheap in many places.

Why the list if trimac seems like the best option? I do appreciate the options though and your efforts here. I'm just curious.
