On my driver side some of the amber LED started going dim last month, now some completely went out. I measured voltage on the last light on the harness that is easiest to get to and are getting good 12.8V with truck not running. Some I just can’t reach. I was thinking it’s corrosion on the harness but now seeing good voltage not sure.

Any ideas what should I check first before replacing them? Also what’s the best way to dismount these lights?

You can take one of the lights that works properly, and plug it into the other locations to make sure the wiring is intact.

This is an old thread, but has anyone come up with a solution? My '16 is doing the same thing. Have put a few new lights in and they are expensive! Two of the new lights are dimming and eventually gone out.
