Stomping your feet and whining that nobody responded the way you wanted is no way to achieve a goal.
That's why I'm not giving you what you want. Your attitude stinks.
Need help with a driver survey, please

Yeah, really, that was all I needed. And it wasn't like I was asking for personal information. But I guess it was just too much for some of you to figure out. A big thank you to Rat Fink and Rick G, the rest of you need to learn how to be a little more helpful.

i'm not sure i understand the question, but you know how i LOVE surveys (see my other post requests!) so here goes:
1) Greatwide
2) driver, mostly have been fill in/floater
3) We used to hire w/o experience, not sure now.
4) Yes, uniform was required before being bought by GW, not sure now.
5)Not much---just drop and hook. Actually the most physically demanding thing is staying awake.
6) Everyone starts off, (and i don't agree with this--it should be based on how long you've been here,) with $22.67hr and .48 cpm.
7) Just general department store freight
negatives:
1) irregular sleep patterns---very bad for your health.
2) some team driving---also very bad for your health.
No other negatives in my opinion! -
Coming on to a forum with your guns a'blazin' isn't going to win you any favors. Nor will an attitude of intolerance get you far in trucking.RickG, MountainMama, Scarecrow03 and 1 other person Thank this. -
To add to Ducks post, your thread was only posted 15 hours ago. Not everybody reads every thread on this site (I certainly don't) and not everybody who reads threads post on them because they are looking for specific info themselves and don't find the thread relevant to them.
Also, and probably more important, is that many of the drivers on here work long, hard hours and are either at work or are doing other things that need to be done on their scarce time off. Although I see no reason for criticizing ANYBODY for not responding to your survey, you certainly did not have the survey up for a long enough time (at least 24-48 hours) before you started blasted people. Did you know that when a written survey is sent out to 1000 people, less than half will even bother to read it and 10% or fewer will actually respond? If you get those results, you're doing well.
Scarecrow03 Thanks this. -
What you need to learn is a good measure of gratitude.
Your "ENTITLED" to nothing in this world ,MUCH LESS HERE !

I certainly agree with mountainmama and ducks. I'm only a wannabe and would have nothing to add to your survey except one thing. I too had to do this survey but I took the time to drive 16 miles to the nearest Pilot. While there I was able to actually meet people and get a lot more insight than this "survey" asks for. I even made a contact or two with large companies. My suggestion as others have is do a little leg work on your own. Your gonna get all kinds of answers on the internet some true and some not.
Ducks Thanks this.
