    I haven't heard of any regulations on height but you definitely don't want it so tall that it hits tree limbs, Interstate overpasses, etc. Mounting it on the roof shouldn't cause any problems.

    I have the wilson roof mount order cant wait for it to show up. I think it will sit around 12ft to 13 ft
