Call Wel Companies. They're based in Wisconsin and take trainees with license.

You should give more information on what you are looking for and what you will do as far as a trucking job so that others can better assist you. How often you want to get home, willing to go OTR, what kind of trailer do you want to pull etc.

Starting out quite often necessitates taking whatever you can get. If you search Indeed/Craigslist, there are several companies hiring with no experience. Some of these companies are located in Florida, Texas and California. Search on Craigslist, Facebook, Indeed, CDL Jobs, Everytruckjob.com and just search trucking jobs Elmira, N.Y. and start calling and asking.


I am surprised that the school did not give you advice, or better advice on procuring a position.
Remember, when you do eventually land a position-always keep the back door open.
