Qualification file physical is what I meant. Drug test. Feds require this for all CDL holders before you can drive for a new employer.

Good on you for seeing the expired plates. Another way to check, does the legal book for the truck have a current valid IRP registration.
    Lessoned learned, cheap so far.

Knowing there is no insurance on the truck, I wouldn't move it one inch.

    Good luck

I just read your last post above.
You gave them a chance already. I would walk.
Obvious they don't care about your professional license.

Going around weigh stations should not be a requirement to deliver a load.

    Leave.

The way it was described to me, using your example, was the tags were issued Jan 2020, and expire Jan 2021, so your tags, according to him, are good for 14 more months.

    FlaSwampRat and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Nope, No IRP. South Carolina Property Carrying plates registered at 38K GVWR. Not apportioned. I called the DMV motor carrier services myself.

Thanks to the DOT Officer I know what a real IRP registration card looks like now.

I'm forever grateful to the DOT officer in Indiana.
