Hi. My name is Eric. This is my first post here and I need advice. I have a 2006 GMC Dually and a 3 car wedge trailer. My equipment needs to be towed from Nashville, TN to Richmond, VA. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about getting this done or other options?

I'm going to assume the truck is broken down.

Best bet might be calling around to some local hotshot company.

Load your truck onto the trailer and have their truck pull it to VA.

Most oilfield hotshots will have a truck set up with a winch and gin poles, which would be able to pull your truck onto the trailer. Not sure how many of them are around Nashville, but it's worth a call.

Yes, we think we have a blown head gasket. I went through a bunch of crap with an out of town mechanic last year and I rather have the work done here in VA.

Any suggestions on how I would go about locating a local hotshot company? I havent come across anything on google.

    Thanks for your advice.

    Hmm... U-ship?

Seriously, maybe you can rent something from Ryder to pull your trailer with your truck on it?

Even though you may be getting ripped off by repairing it where its at. Youre gonna spend a butt load of money getting it home. Maybe once you get a few quotes to haul it the repair shop bill wont look so bad where your at.

Can you hit up some of the duramax specific forums and ask for a good local shop near where the truck is sitting? There may even be some local car club guys that could point you in the right direction.

    RedForeman Thanks this.
